Our Nutrien Ag Solutions 2026 Livestock Career Development Program will provide the skills and training you need to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock Industry. The program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Livestock activity while completing an inhouse Certificate in Livestock Marketing. During the 24month programme (roles are all permanent), all Livestock Trainees will be involved in four leadership and skillbuilding workshops, receive ontheground training, and have mentors assigned to you to provide ongoing support. As part of the Livestock Career Development Programme, youll have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by our experienced livestock employees and leaders, learning effective selling and relationshipbuilding techniques. You may be required to or have the opportunity to move locations: all part of ensuring you get the most out of your experience with us Business skills Compliance, sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problemsolving and negotiation and leading and managing a team Livestock skills Nextgeneration stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging technology Who are we looking for? Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry, excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities Successful completion of Year 12 Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock Be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the programme Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident temporary visa holders are not eligible for this programme Be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination The ability to work in a team environment Willingness to learn, strong communication and problemsolving skills and leadership potential Genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the Livestock Industry Successful applicants will be offered a position in October to commence the role in February 2026 to support in the peak season.
