Maritime Career Training (MCT) is a leading provider of AMSA Approved Certificate of Safety Training in Australia. The successful applicant will be delivering Basic Shipboard Fire Training, Personal Survival Techniques (sea survival Training), Proficiency in Survival Craft Refresher training and Advanced Fire Refresher training at our recently upgraded gas fireground facility and a local swimming pool for the sea survival training. MCT is located on nearly 9,000 square metres of land and the main building comprises 1,000 square metres of roofed classrooms, bathrooms and office space. Applicants must have shipboard maritime industry experience. Candidates must hold Australian permanent residency status. Previous training delivery experience is preferred for this position. Must have Australian Residency and full rights to work in Australia. This is a 3 days per week part time permanent position. However, candidates preferring a full time position will also be considered. Essential Qualifications: Must hold a Certificate of Competence as Chief Integrated Rating or higher deck or engineering qualifications. Ideal candidates will hold Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment TAE40122. Candidates who do not yet hold Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment TAE40122 must be prepared to complete this training at their own expense within 6 months of commencement of employment.
