We are seeking a motivated individual for a Senior Production Planner role at HMA WearSolutions workshop in Berkeley Vale.HMA Wear Solutions are recognisedas a market leader in this field and have been supplying and manufacturing specialised ceramic wear resistant linings and systems in Australia for over 40 years. THE ROLE Based at our NSW branch in Berkeley Vale and reporting to the Operations Manager you will assist in undertaking the following: Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. Working with and reporting to the Operations Manager and Workshop Production Managers to ensure all delivery schedules and lead times are maintained to ensure client expectations are met. Coordinate the Production Planning Team to ensure planning is delivered in line with the company''s priority schedules Coordinate Projects to ensure smooth execution delivering on time and within budget Processing of Orders Planning Sheets, Flange sheets, all materials required, sub-contracting eg pressings, painting. Using the company ERP/CRM to input labour, materials, control stock. Purchasing job specific materials and services Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, stores, accounts and management Checking of drawings and manufacturing check-sheets to assist with manufacturing issues. Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff Compiling MDRs and ITPs ABOUT YOU To be successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes: Experienceproduction planning and quality control principles Experience in leading small teams Ability to read and understand drawings Proficient in MS Office and Visual manufacturing. Sound written and oral communication skills. Good at math and statistics Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong workshop history with leadership skills. We are looking for someone who is "hands on", can think for themselves and have the drive to get the task completed on time.
