Adults Using Family Violence Practitioner The Orange Door Play a vital role in breaking the cycle of family violence and creating safer communities. As part of The Orange Door team, you will work directly with adults using family violence to increase accountability and support positive change. This position is integral to delivering highquality, evidencebased interventions that promote safety for women, children, and families while addressing the complex needs of those using violence. Youll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated responses that make a real difference. About the Role As an Adults Using Family Violence Practitioner, you will: Deliver screening, triage, risk assessment, and service planning for adults using family violence, ensuring responses align with MARAM and best practice frameworks. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and coordinated interventions that prioritise safety and accountability. Provide targeted brief interventions, consultations, and referrals to support early intervention and prevention strategies. Maintain accurate client records and uphold information sharing and privacy requirements in line with legislative frameworks. What We''re Looking For A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or equivalent, or be working towards this in line with recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission into Family Violence. Click here for more information: Mandatory minimum qualifications for specialist family violence practitioners | vic.gov.au Experience working with men, children and families with complex needs in any of the following service areas: family services, Child Protection, family violence, disability, housing, mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs. A sound knowledge of sector reforms, theoretical frameworks and relevant legislation. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of organisational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
