**South West Hospital and Health Service** has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team in Charleville.**Join us in building better health in the bush!**| Workplace Location | South West Qld |**Your opportunity**The Clinical Nurse Educator practices autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing/education services within a rural / remote health service setting.This position has a primary focus of education. It is an advanced practice nurse who delivers a variety of clinical training activities designed to meet identified learning and development needs of nurses. The Clinical Nurse Educator works in the clinical area offering direct support and supervision to nurses to promote and facilitate clinical care outcomes.The Clinical Nurse Educator is an agent to support staff to adopt new practices or new methods of care delivery and to adapt to changes within their work environment.Contributes to positive client outcomes by facilitating the competence and confidence of clinicians via opportunistic learning opportunity within a clinical environment.The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.Charleville is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award State 2015.
