Roogenic is an awardwinning Australian wellness company specialising in native ingredients such as Jilungin and Kakadu Plum. We work with Indigenous communities, growers and specialist manufacturers to create teas, powders and functional products sold across Australia and internationally. We are looking for a handson Supply Chain & Production Manager to own our endtoend supply chain and make sure we never run out of stock, never overstock and continually improve our COGS as we scale. This role is based in New South Wales and will suit someone who enjoys a mix of strategic thinking, detailed execution and real ownership. THE ROLE You will be responsible for planning, purchasing and coordinating everything needed to keep Roogenics products moving smoothly, from raw materials through to finished goods. You will: Own stock planning so we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time Manage purchasing for ingredients and packaging, locally and overseas Coordinate internal production and thirdparty manufacturers (creams, gummies, drinks and more) Oversee logistics and freight for local, interstate and international shipments Keep our systems accurate and connected across Unleashed, Shopify Plus and StarShipIt Work closely with the CEO on R&D execution, new product launches and cost optimisation You will be a key operational partner to the CEO and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and our warehouse team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Source and purchase raw materials, extracts and packaging from Australian and international suppliers Negotiate pricing, MOQs and terms to improve COGS and landed cost Identify new manufacturers and suppliers when needed and manage onboarding Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and production partners Forecast demand and convert this into clear production and purchasing plans Maintain accurate stock levels and batch data in Unleashed across raw materials, WIP and finished goods Coordinate production schedules for internal manufacturing and thirdparty manufacturers Organise freight for domestic pallets, interstate movements, frozen shipments and imports Monitor stock rotation, expiries and storage compliance Own the integration and data accuracy between Unleashed, Shopify Plus and StarShipIt Produce regular supply chain reports, including Stock on Hand, production output and key KPIs Lead process improvements to simplify workflows and reduce manual handling Train internal team members on Unleashed and related processes so routine tasks are delegated effectively Maintain uptodate SOPs and checklists for supply chain and production activities Issue production briefs, specifications and COAs to manufacturers Track batches, resolve yield or formulation issues and ensure consistency from run to run Review quality documentation (COAs, micro, allergen statements) and elevate nonconformances Support export documentation and traceability requirements when needed Support the CEO with executional steps for new products and reformulations Research and source new ingredients, gathering technical and commercial data Coordinate pilot runs and sensory trials with manufacturers Maintain formulation and change logs so technical files are always up to date ABOUT YOU You are a practical supply chain and operations professional who enjoys taking ownership and making things run better every month. You will likely have: 35+ years experience in supply chain, procurement, FMCG operations or manufacturing coordination Strong experience with inventory management and production planning Confidence working with ERPs or inventory systems (experience with Unleashed is a strong plus) Exposure to ecommerce and 3PL or inhouse fulfilment environments (Shopify and StarShipIt experience ideal) Proven supplier management and negotiation skills Solid understanding of freight and imports into Australia Comfortable with Excel and datadriven decisions You are: Highly organised with strong attention to detail Calm under pressure and solutions focused Comfortable working across time zones and with external manufacturers A good communicator who can work closely with the CEO and crossfunctional teams Someone who takes ownership and follows things through to completion LOCATION & WORK PATTERN Based in New South Wales, within a reasonable drive of our Backmede NSW 2470 (Northern Rivers) site Hybrid structure: part workfromhome and part onsite Ability to attend the farm and warehouse approximately two days per week Open to 0.81.0 FTE depending on the candidate WHAT WE OFFER The opportunity to help scale a fastgrowing Australian wellness brand with a genuine purpose Real ownership of supply chain and production, not just a narrow slice A collaborative, downtoearth team and close working relationship with the CEO Flexibility around working pattern (34 days or fulltime) Staff discounts on Roogenic products and exposure to exciting new R&D projects SALARY RANGE $105,000$125,000 + super (fulltime equivalent), pro rata for parttime, depending on experience.
