Responsibilities Senior Pharmacists are responsible for delivering safe, effective and high quality care through the provision of virtual clinical pharmacy services for patients, including: Virtual pharmacy for inpatients at WACHS sites without on-site pharmacist support Virtual training and upskilling of junior pharmacists in the regions Pharmacistled virtual outpatient clinics in areas of visiting specialists, preadmission, day infusions and palliative care Collaborating with the WACHSwide Pharmacy Services team and regional pharmacy departments to ensure best practice and patientcentric care Qualifications Relevant professional qualification and registration as a pharmacist; experience in clinical pharmacy services for hospital patients; ability to perform medication reconciliation, dispense medications, provide drug information, and make independent therapeutic decisions.
