Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Structures MC-55A) Airbus, Edinburgh, South Australia, Australia About the Opportunity The Peregrine MC55A is a new airborne electronic warfare capability based on the Gulfstream G550 platform, being integrated into Defence Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare joint warfighting networks. Airbus Australia is seeking Structural Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to support this platform. About the Role Reporting to the Team Lead Aircraft Maintenance, you will be responsible for onaircraft and offaircraft maintenance activities, supporting operational units in tasks such as advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft and compatible modifications. The position is paid under the Airbus Australia Pacific (Edinburgh) Enterprise Agreement 20212024. Responsibilities Perform onaircraft and offaircraft maintenance tasks on the Peregrine platform Support operational units with advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification About You You should possess the following: Cert IV in Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation Highlevel aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices Knowledge and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications Ability to obtain a Blevel Military Aircraft Maintenance License Highlevel communication skills, both verbal and written Highlevel computer skills in Microsoft Office applications About Airbus Airbus has a 50year track record of innovation, producing commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, space and security solutions.
