We are now seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join us on an 18month fixedterm contract, based in Adelaide (Somerton Park), to play a critical role in the delivery phase of a major South Australian project. This is a handson role for a senior development professional who thrives in construction delivery, contract administration, and stakeholderrich environments. The Role Reporting to the Regional Development Manager, you will be accountable for the endtoend delivery of complex builtform projects, with a strong focus on construction execution, commercial control and risk management. You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and multiple external head contractors on a single project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in line with Levandes quality, sustainability and commercial benchmarks. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being close to site, across the detail, and actively driving outcomes during the construction phase. Key Responsibilities Construction & Project Delivery Lead construction delivery from preconstruction through to completion and handover Manage multiple head contractors and consultant teams concurrently Oversee WHS, environmental compliance, quality assurance and design integrity Drive program certainty, proactively identifying and mitigating construction and delivery risks Commercial & Contract Administration Administer and manage building and consultant contracts across the project lifecycle Maintain tight control of budgets, cash flow, variations and claimsLead reporting, forecasting, risk assessments and monthly cost reviews Ensure project delivery aligns with approved feasibility, cash flow and return benchmarks People & Stakeholder Management Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including Development Managers and Assistant Development Managers Work closely with internal stakeholders across construction, sales, operations, finance, legal and marketing Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, councils and regulators Navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence, professionalism and attention to detail About You You will bring: Strong construction delivery experience across complex builtform developments Demonstrated experience managing multiple head contractors on a single project Proven capability in contract administration, cost control and commercial reporting Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in deliveryfocused environments Excellent stakeholder management skills and a high level of personal accountability A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solutionsfocused approach Experience in retirement living, seniors living, aged care or largescale residential developments is highly regarded, but not essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, construction management, engineering, architecture or a related discipline are preferred. Why Join Levande?
