Job Description

Based at our Maroochydore Office, the Regional Manager Sunshine Coast provides regional leadership and coordination of Country to Coast QLDs (CCQs) primary health stakeholder relationships including general practice, Hospital and Health Services, other primary health providers and community organisations. The role manages intersectoral relationships, implements reforms, drives business development and as a result, improves local health outcomes. A key measure of success in this role is coordinating engagement activities, developing plans, supporting implementation & evaluating outcomes. The Regional Manager also plays a leadership role for staff within the region. Key Responsibilities Manage local primary health relationships. Represent CCQ in regional forums. Lead implementation of local programs, projects and reforms. Manage local contracts. Manage / coordinate local teams. Support disaster management response and recovery. Key Selection Criteria 5 years+ recent professional experience as a health clinician with undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in health services management, program management and/or business development. Demonstrated understanding of the health system especially the interface between primary health care and the broader health sector including government policy and reform priorities. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in embedding formal relationships across organisational boundaries in a sustainable way including the ability to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, peoples and communities and supporting culturally safe practices. Demonstrated 5+ years experience leading teams including leadership of change processes in a complex and fast-paced environment, driving capability development and fostering continuous learning and reflection. Program management with recent experience in progressing multiple projects simultaneous including the collection & analysis of data, production of plans, reports, briefs etc and the use of a variety of digital tools and systems.
