Your ApplicationThe successful candidate will demonstrate:Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;An understanding of the educational needs of boys and young men;Appropriate secondary teaching qualifications, specifically Science and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NSW legislation and College policy;Proven experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Science is essential;Demonstrate an interest or prior involvement in STEM initiatives is advantageous, though not essential;Proven experience or demonstrate the capacity to teach an interdisciplinary curriculum is essential;Ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom climate that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students;Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes;Proven ability to ensure teaching and learning activities reflect contemporary pedagogy, including the ability to integrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning and differentiation strategies;Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
