Each person we support has their own support plan, which details what support they would need, so you can expect to provide support in all aspects of their daily lives. This might include helping with personal care, medication administration, financial support, attending community groups, preparing meals and attending social activities. We are looking for flexible individuals who are keen to support people to try new activities and provide positive reassurance and guidance to help improve independent living skills. We provide support 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday and all contracted staff are required to work some weekends. We are looking for fulltime workers. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Providing personcentred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Assisting with personal care, medication administration, financial support, and daily living activities. Supporting clients to attend community groups and social activities. Implementing support plans and ensuring independence and wellbeing. Working flexibly, including weekends and shifts, to provide continuous care. Qualifications Level 3 in Social Care. Strong experience in mental health, autism, sensory communication, and physical health. Experience in social care if lacking formal qualification. Patience, empathy, compassion, strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, determination, problem solving, and resilience.
