You will be responsible for mental health assessment, intervention strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality health services. This is a permanent, fulltime position. Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse Mental Health, youll make a positive impact by: Conducting advanced clinical assessments and managing mental health care plans for patients Leading the nursing team in delivering evidencebased practice and quality patient care Collaborating with healthcare and custodial staff to ensure safe and effective service delivery Promoting patient safety and ethical standards in all aspects of nursing practice Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery Supporting the professional development of nursing and healthcare staff Professional Profile You are an experienced mental health professional passionate about providing exceptional care and support to those in need. You are committed to promoting patient safety, wellbeing, and ethical standards in all aspects of nursing practice. You are a collaborative team player who values diversity and inclusion and is dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation. To be successful in this role, youll have: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) A minimum of four years of postgraduate experience in mental health nursing Experience in clinical leadership and management within a mental health setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team A commitment to continuous professional development and evidencebased practice A thorough understanding of ethical and legal standards in nursing practice You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
