OverviewOpportunities are available for enthusiastic and experienced people to join a family-owned civil engineering contractor in Romsey. As a member of the Newnham Earthmoving team, the role will require you to undertake a range of construction activities to assist with delivery of our projects across the local Region.QualificationsHigh levels of motivation with the ability to show initiative and selfstart.Must be keen, reliable and hardworking.Ability to read plans and interpret construction drawings.Ability to make effective and timely decisions with strong attention to detail.Experience on civil construction works including pipe laying, pit building or other drainage related experience.White Card.Current Australian Drivers licence; HR truck licence preferable but not essential.Excellent time management and organization skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; enjoy working in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesWork safely and efficiently as part of a team to undertake sitebased tasks on projects including Subdivisions, Council and VicRoads Projects.
