Teacher Aide - Prep - 5 days/32.5 hours per week Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to support teachers in their classrooms and to provide learning assistance for our Prep class. This role includes helping Prep teachers with the delivery of learning programs. We have a part-time, term-time position available - 5 days per week, with occasional additional days for staff professional development. The Role Support the Prep teacher in facilitating lessons and activities, and preparation; Work with students individually or in small groups on activities planned under the supervision of a teacher; Assist students to comply with teacher instruction; Prepare equipment and materials specific to the student and classroom needs in accordance with teachers direction; Observe students and draw attention of the teacher to the students when necessary; Provide assistance during class activities, as required, to ensure maximum participation in programs; and Develop an effective, positive relationship with all students in the class.
