About the Roles Were seeking multiple Food Safety Technicians Quality Assurance / Quality Control to join our Technical Team at our Bairnsdale, VICTORIA site.These positions are hands on roles, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a leading Australian food manufacturer while developing your technical career. In these handson roles, youll help maintain and strengthen our sites food safety and quality systems, drive technical excellence in firsttime quality, train and coach operational teams and ensure compliance with customer, legislative and One Harvest standards. Youll also support site improvement initiatives aligned with our One Harvest Quad 5 Strategy, playing a key role in driving food safety culture and excellence. Key Responsibilities Support and oversee food safety and quality compliance across site operations. Conduct verification, validation, and compliance activities in line with the One Harvest Food Safety Management System (FSMS). Collaborate with operations and technical teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards. Participate in internal and external audits (BRC, WQA, Coles, ALDI, HACCP, GMP). Assist the Food Safety & Compliance Manager to ensure all testing schedules meet customer and budget requirements. Identify and investigate nonconformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Support supplier assurance activities and raw material trials. Assist with new product development and factory trials to validate new processes or materials. Coach, mentor, and support the development of technical and hygiene teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet KPIs zero recalls/withdrawals, complaint reduction, and audit compliance. Ability and enthusiasm to drive firsttime technical excellence on the floor About You Youll be an experienced, detailoriented, and proactive professional with a strong understanding of food safety principles and compliance systems. You Will Bring Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience). Experience in food manufacturing (ideally chilled or readytoeat products). Solid knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSANZ, and thirdparty certification standards (BRC, WQA, retailer standards). Proven ability to conduct or support internal and external audits. Strong communication skills and ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a solutionsdriven mindset. Experience in technical or hygiene team leadership. Exposure to customer or retailer audit processes.
