Agribrands manufactures and distributes a range of quality feed, bedding and treat products to Australias leading pet retailers and supermarkets from its manufacturing sites in Campbellfield and Eddington. Incorporated under the Agribrands business are well known brands Peters Pure Animal Foods, PeterGibbsStockfeed and Birdzone enabling a broad and exciting product offer to all customers.Reporting to the Board, the General Manager will provide strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to ensure the ongoing sustainability, performance, and growth of the business.A key priority will be delivering a major site upgradea transformative project designed to significantly increase production output to meet growing market demand.You will shape Agribrands strategic roadmap, drive operational excellence, build highperforming teams, and foster strong relationships across customers, suppliers, and governing bodies.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipBuild, communicate, and execute Agribrands strategic plan.Identify opportunities in new markets, products, and partnerships.Track manufacturing, regulatory, and economic trends.Major Capital Project DeliveryProvide executive governance for the Eddington site transformation.Drive scope, budget, timeline, and safety accountability.Operational ExcellenceLead efficient and safe multisite manufacturing operations.Drive continuous improvement in throughput, quality, cost, and delivery.Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and KPI performance.Manage financial governance, capital allocation, risk, and cashflow.Maintain full compliance with all statutory and industry requirements.Stakeholder Engagement & ReportingProvide clear, transparent reporting to the Board.Maintain trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, government agencies, and industry bodies.About YouYou will bring a blend of strategic capability, operational excellence, and commercial acumen, paired with the drive to lead a multifaceted business through significant transformation.We are looking for someone with:Experience within manufacturing and/or the grainhandling, feed, or agribusiness sector.A proven track record delivering largescale capital projects, site upgrades, or major operational transformations.Strong commercial and financial management experience.Background managing complex or multisite operations.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.Excellent governance, decisionmaking, and riskmanagement capability.Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead change and strengthen organisational culture.A strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline.Why Join Us?At Agribrands, our valuesSustainability, Respect, Unity, Trust, and Excellenceguide how we work, grow, and support each other.
