Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are establishing the enterprise foundations required to support Hewitts next phase of disciplined growth. The Program Director will lead the end-to-end Global Operating System programintegrating operating model, process standardisation, digital enablement, capability uplift and governance components into a single coherent operating system. A key milestone will be achieved at the conclusion of the first phase: a sequenced, costed and integrated program endorsed by the Executive, with clear success criteria, value targets, sequencing, risk profile and resourcing model. This milestone sets expectations for Phase 2 implementation and ensures continuity, confidence and execution momentum. This is a minimum 12-month appointment (with strong opportunity to extend), reflecting the scale of the mandate, with strong potential to extend as the program progresses. Clarifying the mandate The transformation focus is on creating a system where work is efficient, effective and engagingno matter where in the value chain or which function people work. Technology and ERP solutions will enable consistency and scale, but they are not the transformation. The program integrates people, process, decision rights, governance, data and digital enablement into one operating system that lifts performance, clarity and accountability enterprise-wide. Candidates whose experience is limited to technology-led programs without leading enterprise-wide operating model, decision clarity, capability uplift and process standardisation will not meet the brief. Key priorities first 12 months Map end-to-end value chain processes to identify waste, risk, duplication and inconsistency Define global standards vs local variation using industry taxonomy Build the complete inventory of artefacts required for implementation Confirm decision rights and governance aligned to Delegations of Authority Lead data and digital architecture assessment and roadmap to enable standardisation at scale Prepare business requirements and sourcing materials for ERP/digital vendors Establish and lead a cross-functional project team and program governance Present Executive-ready scope, sequencing, resourcing, cost ranges and measurable value case Maintain a single, authoritative definition of what the Operating System isand is not Success looks like Demonstrable uplift in operating clarity, consistency and workflow efficiency across functions and geographies Work feels easier and more predictable for frontline and support teams, improving engagement and ownership Executive endorsement of program scope, sequencing, cost and value with no ambiguity or rework Phase 2 mobilises smoothly and progresses in line with approved timelines, costs, resource assumptions and value expectations Digital enablement proceeds as a coordinated enabler of standardisationnot as a standalone systems project Disciplined scope control, trade-off management and sequencing across all workstreams What you bring ~10+ years leading enterprise operating model and transformation programs Experience defining scope and architecture for major operating model, process or digital enablement initiatives Strong commercial judgement and sequencing discipline Ability to integrate people, process, digital and governance considerations Credibility engaging operators, executives and Boards Pragmatic, delivery-focused styleclarity without bureaucracy Unlock job insights Salary match Number of applicants Skills match Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
