Program Director Major Airport Modernisation Program Location: Perth, WA (preferred) Were supporting a major airport modernisation initiative in Perth and are looking for an experienced Program Director to lead a multi-stream, multi-vendor delivery spanning operational technology, passenger systems and large-scale infrastructure uplift. What Youll Lead - A major, multiyear program with a combined value exceeding $50M - Multiple concurrent workstreams across technology, operations and infrastructure - Multivendor coordination and governance - Stakeholder engagement at executive and operational levels within an airport environment - Delivery that touches critical airport operations and endtoend passenger experience This role has significant visibility and will shape how the airport operates over the next decade. Key Responsibilities - Guide endtoend delivery across several functional and technical streams - Maintain a single source of truth across scope, schedule, budget, risk and dependencies - Establish and maintain governance forums, steering committees and escalation pathways Stakeholder Management - Build trust with senior airport executives, internal sponsors and delivery partners - Navigate complex and occasionally challenging stakeholder environments - Keep alignment across vendors, business units and external partners Scope & Change Management - Hold firm on scope baselines - Identify and call out change early with customer and internal teams - Manage interdependencies across vendors, technology and operational teams - Lead PMs, PMO, architects, change and delivery teams - Build a culture of accountability, clarity and collaboration - Encourage crossteam cohesion rather than commandandcontrol behaviour What You Bring - Minimum of two Master Systems Integrator (MSI) programs - Exceptional stakeholder and executivelevel communication skills - Ability to operate confidently in a live operational environment - Experience in aviation or airport systems is highly regarded but not mandatory - Perthbased or willing to relocate for several years Why This Role Matters This program plays a critical role in supporting longterm growth, operational resilience and customer experience.
