Overview AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Key Responsibilities Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory. Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes. Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets. Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business. Challenge outdated approaches to IT. Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers. Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy. Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement. Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy. Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities. Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services. Develop longterm strategic Clevel relationships with key accounts. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to Clevel executives. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing detailed gotomarket plans. Experience working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies. Experience with cloud computing technologies.
