About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mine Controller Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) to join our Integrated Remote Operations team in Perth. Reporting to the Supervisor Control, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the movement of autonomous mining equipment within the mine pit, ensuring safe and efficient extraction of material. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our mine site, upholding high standards of safety, productivity, and teamwork. Responsibilities Monitor and control the autonomous fleet, managing access for authorised personnel and vehicles within the Autonomous Operating Zone (AOZ). Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless integration of mining activities. Monitor haul cycles and utilise control systems and dashboards to optimise production and minimise downtime. Respond promptly to operational issues, providing effective solutions and support. Maintain accurate records of mining activities and report on key performance metrics. Ensure strict adherence to integrated remote operations policies and procedures. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Skills and Experience Previous experience operating an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) is essential. Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform under pressure to meet deadlines. Sound understanding of mine site safety and operational procedures. Proficient computer skills, with experience using relevant systems and software. Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
