About the Opportunity Were seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Yanco Creek Modernisation Project in south-west NSW. Part of the Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Mechanism (SDLAM) Program, the project aims to improve environmental water flows and support the long-term sustainability of the Murray-Darling Basin. You will take a handson, sitebased leadership role, delivering the construction of a number of fully automated and remotely operated regulators. The project involves complex civil infrastructure including concrete structures, fishways, SCADA systems, access tracks, erosion protection works and associated ancillary works. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, from contractor management and stakeholder engagement to risk mitigation, compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. The role is based onsite across the Yanco Creek system, and likely to involve a base engagement from NSW regional centres or FIFO arrangements from Sydney (with accommodation and LAFHA provided). This is a role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. What Youll Bring to the Team Significant project management experience delivering largescale civil infrastructure projects, ideally in bulk water or linear works, with practical onsite knowledge of assets such as regulators, weirs and fishways (including how they are sequenced, built and managed in the field). Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, inspire performance and maintain cohesion on complex sites. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement spanning government clients, contractors and community groups. Deep commercial and budget management expertise, including cost control, forecasting, risk management and reporting. A solutionsfocused mindset with the ability to identify challenges early, implement mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly across teams, contractors and stakeholders.
