Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Restoration Ecology Flinders University is seeking an enthusiastic and accomplished academic to join our College of Science and Engineering as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Restoration Ecology. This teaching and research position plays a key role in delivering highquality, studentcentred education and advancing impactful research within restoration ecology and related ecological disciplines. Base Pay Range A$113,211.00 A$158,885.00 per year Job Details Job ID: JR0000015293 Employment: Full Time | Continuing Academic Level: B (AU$113,211 133,974 pa) or C (AU$138,124 158,885 pa) Location: Bedford Park, Kaurna Country, Australia Key Responsibilities Design, coordinate and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, focusing on restoration ecology, plant ecology (native and invasive species), ecological genomics, global ecology, or other existing strengths within the College. Conduct highquality research that aligns with the Colleges strategic strengths, demonstrated through scholarship, quality publications and external grant acquisition. Supervise Honours and HDR students, contributing to a vibrant research culture. Contribute to internal and external accreditation, quality assurance processes and College leadership activities. Qualifications and Experience Completion of a PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification in restoration ecology or a closely related discipline. Evidence of successful, highquality tertiary teaching, including curriculum design, topic coordination, and delivery of both introductory and advanced ecology topics. A strong research track record (relative to career stage) with highquality publications, external funding success and industry or community collaboration. For Academic Level C: Demonstrated national or international leadership in teaching and/or research (e.g., course coordination, major grants, significant research programs, accreditation activities, or industry partnerships).
