Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hr Benefits: Small 3bedroom home + Extras Job Description A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Station Hand to join a largescale cattle operation in the New England region of NSW. Spanning over 4,000 hectares and running 4,0005,000 head of cattle, our client is seeking an experienced Station Hand to assist with the daily operations of the property and operating the livestock truck to other properties within the client''s business. The role will include; Mustering cattle using bikes Processing cattle, including branding and weaning Property maintenance and development, including water infrastructure and fencing repairs/installation Operating the livestock truck to the clients'' other properties General farm duties as required Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong background in cattle work Proven ability in processing, branding, and weaning Experience with property maintenance, including water and fencing Proficiency in machinery operations to assist with fodder crops and pastures A high level of physical fitness and the ability to work on their own Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Communicate with owners MC Licence experience carting livestock A 3bedroom house is provided, located within 30 minutes of a major town with access to schools, supermarkets, hospitals and other essential services.
