Assistant Manager Emerald Star Hotel We''re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Emerald Star Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals. A long-standing landmark in the Central Highlands since 1908 the Emerald Star Hotel is a true local favourite offering great meals live sport and welcoming country hospitality. We''re now seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead this busy venue and deliver an outstanding experience for locals and visitors alike. A day in the life of an Assistant Manager : Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew. Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great vibe. Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends. Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches. Bring the energy, the service and the smiles every single shift. Inherent requirements : This is a handson role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. About you : Youve been around the bar, bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising. Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up. Youve got the confidence, pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away.
