Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia (TLEA) is seeking fulltime Production Technicians (across various levels) to join our team at the Kwinana plant, working on an eventime sportsmans roster (5/5/4). As a Production Technician, youll play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our stateoftheart lithium processing plant. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Commit to zero LTIs and report all incidents and hazards to the Supervisor. Follow all safety procedures, standards, and isolation protocols for plant and equipment. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across all work areas. Undertake regular inspections and initiate maintenance responses for faults and breakdowns. Eliminate and control hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Operational Support Support the achievement of operational targets, including 99 percent quality tonnes for battery specification. Execute safe and efficient operation of the LiOH processing plant and associated systems. Competent in materials handling, pyrometallurgical, leach hydrometallurgical, crystalliser, packaging, and boiler operations. Operate mobile equipment safely and effectively. Teamwork & Communication Actively participate in team activities including toolbox meetings, shift handovers, and training sessions. Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and other departments. Build strong working relationships and contribute to a positive team environment. Learning & Development Learn through observation and handson tasks under the guidance of experienced trainers. Support and guide others in process operations while contributing to the assessment of skills and knowledge. Maintain focus and deliver consistent performance in dynamic and timesensitive environments. Stay calm and make informed decisions when managing high workloads or changing priorities. Effectively organise tasks and approach work in a structured, methodical way. Demonstrate maturity, resilience, and a proactive approach to problemsolving. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Entry level Strong focus on safety, including the use of risk assessment tools. Effective communicator with basic troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Experienced in materials handling and operating mobile equipment such as frontend loaders. Competent in working at heights and confined space entry. Valid Australian C class drivers licence. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Intermediate level Overhead crane operation Mobile equipment: Front End Loader, Skid Steer, EWP, Forklift Working at Heights Confined Space Entry Cert III Process plant operations or equivalent (desirable) Emergency response team experience/exposure (desirable) Training and assessor certification (desirable) ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Advanced level Mobile Equipment: FEL, Skid steer, EWP, Forklift Working at Height Confined Space Overhead crane operation Cert III Process Plant Operations or Equivalent (Desirable) Emergency response team experience/exposure (Desirable) Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodology (Desirable) Training and assessor certification (Desirable) HOW DO I APPLY?
