Murin Association Inc is seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join its team to work in its air passenger and freight service, at Darwin International Airport, Marrara.Murin operates an air service between Darwin and Wadeye in the West Daly region, that provides a scheduled service seven days per week.There are two flights per day Monday to Friday and a single flight on Saturday and Sunday.We are seeking people who would like to join our team on a casual basis to provide friendly, efficient and safe passenger and air side operations to our customers.ResponsibilitiesBooking passengers and freight onto aircraft utilising the computerised booking system;Check in passengers, baggage and freight ready for flights;Process all email and phone enquiries and communications;Ensure safe identification and management of dangerous goods;Prepare flight manifests, collecting and logging passenger and baggage / freight weights;Load and unload baggage and freight compliant with pilot specifications;Complete daily administration and banking tasks;Manage the day to day needs of air terminal passenger facilities, including cleaning and maintenance of office, passenger areas and surrounding grounds;Ensure a safe, supportive and culturally inclusive service through maintenance of positive relationships with customers and colleagues, understanding the importance of cultural diversity;Comply with all company policies and procedures and legislative and regulatory requirements;About youYou will have an Open C Class Driver''s Licence (Manual), be physically fit, able to lift 20 kilos with ease, possess outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, well developed cultural awareness and value diversity, sound administrative and organisational skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.Other requirementsPre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test Screening.Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).(Murin can assist in obtaining necessary clearances).About usMurin Association Inc is an Aboriginal controlled charitable organisation that provides a range of services to the Wadeye community and broader Daly Region.These include a year-round air, barge and road services and air charters.The position is located at the Main Office, Darwin International Airport, Marrara, NT.How to applyApplications close Friday 26th December . #J-18808-Ljbffr
