About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the East Metropolitan Health Services People and Culture team to coordinate a range of key correspondence, communications, and governance activities for the Office of the Executive Director. This is a brand new, permanent position providing a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to shape the role by drawing on their own experience, ideas and initiatives. The Coordinator role will be critical to the good governance and daytoday functioning of the Executive Directors Office, as well as across all the People and Culture Division and its stakeholders more widely. More specifically this role will be responsible for the following: - Managing correspondence and requests for the Executive Director, including coordinating and providing quality assurance for responses to Ministerial and Parliamentary questions. - Developing, implementing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure effective governance of People and Culture activities. - Providing high level advice and support to the Executive Director by attending meetings, undertaking research, investigations, reporting and special projects as required. - Contributing to strategic and operational planning for the People and Culture Division. About you: To succeed, you will have strong experience coordinating various strategic and operational activities, and be highly organised with an ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment, preferably in a HRrelated context within a large, complex organisation. It is essential that you possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels. The role requires someone who is selfmotivated, adaptable, and confident managing competing priorities while delivering timely, highquality advice.
