We provide critical services in humanitarian, tenancy, workplace, and family and domestic violence law, as well as community legal education, advocacy, and sector support. We are seeking an experienced, values-driven CEO with a passion for social justice and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Board of Management, the CEO will lead Circle Green through a period of change, consolidation, and social impact. The role is responsible for organisational strategy, financial sustainability, service delivery oversight, stakeholder relationships, and embedding a positive, valuesaligned culture across the organisation. The CEO will guide a skilled and passionate multidisciplinary team and play a key role in strengthening partnerships, driving advocacy, and ensuring Circle Green remains a leader in accessible, traumainformed, clientcentred legal assistance. Key Responsibilities include: - Lead the organisation in alignment with Circle Greens vision, purpose, and values. - Implement and oversee strategic and business plans that respond to community legal needs. - Drive organisational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion. - Strengthen service delivery, education, advocacy, and external partnerships. - Ensure strong governance, compliance, financial sustainability, and risk management. - Build a highperforming leadership team and support staff development and succession planning. - Promote Circle Green publicly and enhance brand, communications, and sector influence. - Provide highquality reporting to the Board and funders. ABOUT YOU Essential criteria: - Demonstrated strategic leadership and changemanagement experience. - Strong governance capability and experience reporting to or working with a Board. - Proven ability to manage financial sustainability in a not-forprofit or compliancebased environment. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills. - Experience leading specialist teams and fostering effective external partnerships. - Understanding of government processes and highly regulated service environments. - Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive comparable experience. Desirable: - Formal governance training e.g. Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) or willingness to undertake it. - Available to commence FebruaryMarch 2026. Why Join Circle Green?
