2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Automic Group Sydney | Hybrid | High-growth fintech | Values-led culture The Head of Fund Services is accountable for the end-to-end service delivery and operational performance of Automics Fund Services business, spanning Fund Administration, Fund Registry and Custody. This is a critical leadership role responsible for unifying multiple fund-related functions into a single, cohesive operating model, while delivering scalable, high-quality and commercially disciplined fund operations. Youll play a key role in supporting strong client outcomes, sustainable growth, margin performance and robust risk and control as Automic continues to expand its funds capability. Youll work closely with Growth, Finance, Technology, Product and Risk to build a credible, well-governed and market-leading Fund Services platform. What youll do Own and lead end-to-end service delivery across Fund Administration, Fund Registry and Custody as one integrated Fund Services function Act as the primary point of accountability for fund client outcomes, including service quality, delivery reliability and issue resolution Lead the onboarding and transition of new fund clients and products from Growth into scalable, well-controlled BAU operations Enable sustainable growth in Fund Services by scaling people, processes and systems without compromising quality or control Drive commercial and financial performance through disciplined cost management, productivity uplift and workforce planning Partner with Finance and Growth on forecasting, pricing inputs and commercial decision-making Establish strong operational standards, SLAs, incident management frameworks and service performance cadence Own operational risk, compliance and audit outcomes, ensuring timely remediation and zero tolerance for material control failures Partner with Transformation, Product and Technology to implement standardised processes, automation and scalable platforms Build, lead and develop high-performing Fund Services leaders and teams, embedding accountability, execution discipline and service excellence What youll bring Extensive senior leadership experience across fund administration, fund operations, registry and/or custody environments Strong technical understanding of fund operations, governance, controls and regulatory obligations Proven experience integrating complex operational functions into a single operating model Demonstrated ability to scale services while maintaining quality, risk and margin discipline Strong commercial acumen, including workforce planning, cost management and productivity optimisation Experience partnering with Growth, Finance, Technology and Product teams in a scaling environment A leadership style that balances accountability, collaboration and high performance In addition, you are a confident, pragmatic leader who thrives in complex, regulated environments.
