About the Role Based in Adelaide''s northern metropolitan area, you will provide specialist psychiatric consultation and liaison services to medical and surgical teams. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex mental health presentations in the general hospital setting. Responsibilities Provide specialist psychiatric care and expert consultation across hospital and community settings Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations Lead care planning and collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals Drive continuous quality improvement and uphold the highest standards of patient safety Mentor trainee medical officers and contribute to education programs Collaborate with medical teams to optimise patient outcomes Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture.
