Position - Specialist Ethnic Cuisine Cook (Asian Cook) About this role : As a wok chef, you will play a pivotal role in our restaurant, where Asian tradition meets modern ambience, offering our guests a unique culinary experience.Your expertise in traditional wok cooked cuisine will be essential in creating exquisite dishes that blend authentic flavours with innovative techniques.Your passion for culinary excellence and dedication to exceptional service will contribute to our goal of providing a memorable dining experience for our valued customers.Tasks and Responsibilities : Develop a diverse and enticing menu that showcases a fusion of traditional Asian dishes and innovative fusion creations.Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional Asian dishes, including appetizers, main courses and soups, with precision and authenticity.Source and select the freshest and highest-quality ingredients to create exceptional Asian flavours.Exhibit expertise in various Asian cooking methods, such as stir-frying, steaming, and braising, to achieve authentic taste profiles.Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain an organized and efficient workflow during busy service hours.Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards to deliver safe and delightful dishes.Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks to ensure consistent taste and presentation.Interact with guests, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about our Asian dishes and menu offerings.Embrace opportunities to innovate and create new and exciting dishes that infuse traditional Asian recipes with a modern twist.Requirements : Proven experience as an Asian Cook or in a similar role specializing in Asian cuisine.In-depth knowledge of traditional Asian recipes, culinary techniques, and flavour profiles.Ability to maintain the authenticity and quality of Asian dishes through precise cooking methods.Strong attention to detail and presentation skills to deliver visually appealing dishes.Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.2. Position Hospitality worker About this role : Hospitality worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front of house Restaurant area, supporting all aspects of food and beverage ordering, serving / delivery and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.You will be a vital support system to our business assisting with a wide range of essential tasks Tasks and Responsibilities : Assisting with taking orders and serving drinks and food.Assisting with the receiving, unpacking, and storing of deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.Collaborate with the team to maintain an organised and efficient workflow during busy service hours.Providing support other employees with various tasks as required Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic environment, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards to deliver safe and delightful dishes.Disposing of waste and recycling materials appropriately.Requirements : Proven experience as an all rounder or in a similar role specialising in Asian cuisine.Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.Strong attention to detail and presentation skills to deliver visually appealing dishes.Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work efficiently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment3. Position - Kitchen Hand Tasks and Responsibilities : Support chef and other staff with various tasks as required Assist with food preparation Maintain hygiene and safety standards in kitchen Clean / wash kitchen equipment, appliances, dishes, pots and utensils Receive, organise and handle supply / food deliveries Remove and dispose kitchen waste4. Position - Waiter Supervisor About this role : As a Waiter Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant''s front-of-house team.You will lead and support our waitstaff, ensuring they provide exceptional service to our valued guests.Your strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming and delightful dining experience for all patrons.Tasks and Responsibilities : Supervise and train junior team members Delivering exceptional customer service Serving food and drinks; may make recommendations Supervising the service of food and beverages.Ensuring customers are served in a professional and timely manner.Educating junior staff on menu products.Working with the kitchen to deliver high-quality food Greeting guests, giving them water and food and drinks menus.Setting tables Taking orders and passing them on to kitchen.Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen, removing empty bottles and glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses Practicing the correct workplace health and safety procedures.Following all cleaning policies Requirements : Proven experience as a Waiter Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the foodservice industry.Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the waitstaff team effectively.Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on providing a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced restaurant setting.Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine selections.Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
