As Program Manager, youll play a key leadership role ensuring our programs run smoothly, our staff feel supported and every guest feels welcomes and inspired.What Youll DoPlan, deliver and coordinate outdoor programs across holiday camps, school residential, bush programs and journey experiencesLead and supervise activity staff, supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and performanceModel and uphold high standards of safety, risk management and complianceInstruct specialised and non-specialised activities (e.g. abseiling, canoeing, high ropes, biking)Maintain equipment, first aid supplies and activity recordsEngage positively with guests, ensuring a smooth, safe and enjoyable experienceContribute to new program ideas, continuous improvement and organisational initiativesSupport camp operations including setup, pack-down and occasional after-hours responsibilitiesWhat You BringFresh ideas, with school networks, community connections or experience in journey-based programs3+ years experience in outdoor education, camps, recreation or journey-based programsConfident staff leader with the ability to mentor, guide and build a positive team cultureExcellent communication, problem-solving and guest service skillsStrong understanding of safety systems, risk assessments and emergency responseTertiary qualification in Outdoor EducationSenior First Aid (Wilderness First Aid desirable), Working With Children Check, Drivers Licence (Manual and HR an advantage)Why Cave Hill CreekBe part of a tight-knit, values-driven team where your input is appreciatedEnjoy variety in your work and freedom to contribute your ideas and expertiseFamily-friendly, flexible, and supportive working environmentPotential for relocation assistance and onsite accommodation for the right candidateAbout YouYoull have strong experience in outdoor education or recreation, bring sound judgement, a passion for youth development, and the ability to lead with confidence and care.
