Job Advertisement: Cleaner/Commercial Housekeeper FullTime Role in Darwin, NT Salary Range: $65,037$72,000 per annum Location: Darwin, NT Join Private Advertiser (ABN 76 615 923 745) and help keep Darwins hotels and commercial premises at their best. Key Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms and common areas to schedule and site standards (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, spotcleaning). Make beds; change linen; restock towels and amenities (where applicable to site). Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens and hightouch surfaces; replenish consumables. Empty and segregate waste; restock housekeeping trolleys and storerooms and handle lost property per policy. Manage basic stock levels and coordinate safe handling of cleaning chemicals; keep SDS current and accessible. Liaise with site contacts on service requirements and report maintenance or WHS hazards promptly. Operate equipment safely (e.g., commercial vacuums, microfibre/steam cleaners, pressure/steam equipment where trained). Adhere to cleaning schedules, room checklists and brand standards; use chemicals and equipment safely. Selection Criteria Housekeeping proficiency: recent experience across hotel rooms and/or other commercial premises; strong eye for detail and presentation. WHS & chemical safety: knowledge of safe work practices and SDSguided chemical use. Time management: ability to meet room/area turnaround targets and follow run sheets/checklists. Communication: clear, courteous communication with clients, guests and team members; accurate incident/maintenance reporting. Equipment skills: competent with standard housekeeping tools and commercial machines (training provided where required). Quality standards: consistent delivery to brand/site standards; effective selfchecks and signoffs. Flexibility: capacity to work shifts, some weekends/public holidays, and rotate across multiple Darwin sites. Required Experience and Qualifications 12+ years relevant commercial housekeeping/cleaning experience (multisite preferred). Understanding of ANZSCO 811411 task scope; safe chemical handling and WHS awareness. Full working rights in Australia. Formal qualifications are not mandatory; onthejob training evidence is valued.
