Administration Assistant Reception / Medical Records Beechworth Health Service (BHS) is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Administration Assistant Reception / Medical Records to support our administrative services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy and confidentiality, and takes pride in providing friendly, professional service to the community. Casual opportunities are available to support leave relief, peak periods and operational requirements, with shifts across reception and medical records functions. About the role As a Casual Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house reception and medical records services. Your responsibilities will include: Providing a courteous and welcoming first point of contact at reception Managing the switchboard and directing enquiries appropriately Supporting medical records administration, including file creation, distribution and privacy management Assisting with admissions and discharges for acute patients Performing data entry, reporting and administrative tasks across multiple systems Supporting accounts receivable, cash handling and banking functions as required Providing leave relief and backup support across administration functions Duties are shared and rotated across the administration team, and casual staff must be able to perform all core aspects of the role.
