About us The Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Unit provides Nursing and Midwifery education, professional practice development services and Clinical Practice Improvement initiatives for nursing and midwifery staff, to facilitate the achievement of best practice health service delivery requirements. The Unit is led by the Nursing Director of Education and Research. Nurse Educators, Midwifery Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Facilitators, Student Facilitators, Transfusion Nurse and Librarians report to the Director. Nurse Educators in Gladstone, Emerald, Aged Care and Mental Health have professional links with the Unit. About the role The Clinical Facilitator is an experienced clinician employed across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) to facilitate, guide and support the learning experiences of CQHHS Graduate Registered Nurses. The Clinical Facilitator actively engages in the development of a learning culture through facetoface interaction and teaching of Graduate Nurses, whilst liaising with the clinical unit and respective teams. The Clinical Facilitator models evidencebased practice at a proficient level. About you Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a current annual practising certificate. Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent (mandatory). Successful completion of the preceptor program. A relevant postgraduate qualification in which clinical education was a component; if not currently held, commitment to complete within an agreed timeframe. Remuneration Hourly rate between $56.08 and $60.05 per hour. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. 17.5% leave loading.
