About the role Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal to the smooth operation of the Office of the CEO. You will act as a trusted partner, providing proactive executive, governance, and administrative support while working closely with the Board, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Company Secretariat, and key internal and external stakeholders. This is a senior EA role requiring exceptional judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Responsibilities Providing end-to-end executive support to the CEO, including complex diary management, travel coordination, and day-to-day prioritisation. Acting as a key gatekeeper for the CEO, screening and managing correspondence, calls, and requests. Supporting all Board and Board Committee meetings, including preparation and proofreading of agendas, papers, presentations, and postmeeting followup. Coordinating ELT and management meetings, including collation and distribution of documentation. Working closely with the Assistant Company Secretary to ensure Board and management reporting is delivered accurately and on time. Supporting the CEO with research and preparation of documentation for potential strategic initiatives. Managing Boardroom and meeting room bookings and ensuring appropriate setup. Ensuring timely acquittal of CEO and Directors expenses. Handling highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism. About You Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant to a CEO or senior executive ideally in the banking and/or financial services industry. EAs with experience across other industries will also be considered. Experience supporting Board and governance processes. Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Strong written communication skills, including preparation of executive and Boardlevel documentation. High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
