The Enrolled Nurse delivers high quality nursing care to patients / clients of the Randwick Campus Operating Suite consistent with SESLHD and Prince of Wales policies, procedures and standards. The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, and assists in the provision of nursing care. Enrolled Nurses retain responsibility for their personal actions whilst remaining accountable to the Registered Nurse for delegated functions. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing. All workers and new recruits are required to receive 2 doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine to commence employment / engagement or continue to work within a NSW Health service. A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements. In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.
