Role Description This is a fulltime, onsite role for a Podiatrist specialising in aged care, located in Bundoora, VIC. The Podiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive foot and lower limb care to elderly clients, conducting biomechanical assessments, managing podiatric conditions, and recommending appropriate orthotic solutions. The role includes working with clients with diabetesrelated foot issues, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support overall health and wellbeing. Qualifications Expertise in Podiatry and Medicine, including thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of foot and lower limb health care. Strong understanding of Biomechanics and ability to assess musculoskeletal function and gait analysis. Experience in designing, prescribing, and fitting Orthotics to manage foot conditions and enhance mobility. Knowledge of Diabetesrelated foot care, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of complications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with elderly clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Relevant qualifications or degree in Podiatry and current registration with the applicable professional body in Australia.
