HSEQ CoOrdinator / HSEQ Advisor / HSEQ Officer Location: Bayswater, WA Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 p/a + Super (dependent on experience) + Vehicle Allowance Permanent, Full Time Position Working Hours: 8am - 4:30pmAre you a selfmotivated HSEQ Officer / Coordinator with a passion for being hands on and looking at broader business objectives? Will you enjoy a role that sees you partnering with the project owners and support the day to day business H&S requirements?Then this could be the role for you!About the RoleReporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project and site managers in the delivery of safe and compliant projects across both Mechanical and Electrical construction packages of work. This position will see you conducting audits, risk assessments, and inspections while also providing training and guidance to teams on the ground.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist project and site managers to implement and maintain HSEQ management systems.Review and monitor HSEQ Plans, subcontractor documentation, and SWMS.Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety walks to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.Facilitate inductions, prestarts, toolbox talks, and onsite training.Support incident and injury management processes, including returntowork requirements.Monitor project risk assessments, ensuring new risks are identified and controlled.Prepare and compile monthly reporting, updating internal systems as required.Promote a positive safety culture across sites and projects.What You''ll NeedMinimum qualification in Health and Safety.At least 5 years'' HSEQ experience within construction or a related industry.Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and its associated programs.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes, and management systems.Current returntowork qualifications.Experience with WorkCover, workers'' compensation, or occupational rehabilitation highly desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to foster and drive a positive safety culture.Keen problemsolving and analytical skills.Accountability, reliability, and strong attention to detail.Why Join?Tier 1 construction company with strong project pipeline.Work with the local WA team and in conjunction with the national HSEQ team, offering awesome support and mentoring.Replacement role for someone taking on a new challenge within the business; this person will be available to support and mentor.Competitive annual salary depending on experience: $120,000- $140,000 p/a + Super + Vehicle Allowance.Fulltime, permanent opportunity Immediate interview & start.Exciting projects on the horizon across the business.How to ApplyApply now or if you have any questions on the role, please reach out to [email protected].#J-18808-Ljbffr
