The roleHy-Tec currently has an opportunity for an experienced Multi-Combination (MC) licenced Driver to drive B-Double Tankers, primarily working out of our site at Pinkenba. In this role you will be responsible for the loading and delivery of raw materials used in the production of concrete and aggregates to multiple sites within the Brisbane Metro area, as well as for vehicle upkeep.In this position you will meet a diverse group of people, and you will be given the responsibility and autonomy to ensure that our raw materials are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently.To apply you must already hold a MC licence and have at least 12 months driving experience in multi/heavy combination vehicles.This role is available on a full-time permanent basis working on the afternoon shift Monday to Saturday commencing at 3pm each day.To apply you must already hold a HC licence and have at least 12 months driving experience in heavy combination vehicles.This position is for an afternoon shift and includes work on rostered Saturdays.We are open to visa holders, subject to valid Australian work rights.ResponsibilitiesLoad and deliver raw materials to company sitesEnsure safety, health & environment standards are maintainedComply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management requirementsComplete basic documentationMaintain professional customer relationshipsMaintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy conditionWhat you will need to succeedCurrent MC drivers'' licence and be able to provide driver licence history check - essentialA reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer serviceStrong work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work independentlyPrevious tanker experience advantageous but not requiredRelevant building/concrete industry experience advantageous but not requiredOur BusinessHy-Tec is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to various construction sectors.
