These roles offer immediate starts, strong hourly rates, and ongoing project pipelines.Role: Switchboard Electricians & Trade Assistants (Assembly & Manufacturing)What''s in it for you?Excellent hourly ratesSwitchboard Electricians / Builders: $57.00 per hourTrade Assistants: $40.00 per hourImmediate start opportunities with reputable, stable employersLong-term project workflow and potential for ongoing employmentSupportive workshop environments with strong safety cultureCareer development and training opportunities with companies that genuinely invest in their peopleYou will be working within modern workshop environments, supporting the build, assembly, wiring, and testing of custom-designed electrical switchboards for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesElectricians / Switchboard BuildersAssemble and wire electrical switchboards in accordance with single line diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specificationsInstall and terminate electrical components including circuit breakers, relays, CTs, meters, control devices, and PLC hardwareFit and mount switchgear, busbar systems, control wiring looms, and cable management systemsConduct point-to-point testing, continuity tests and ensure boards meet AS/NZS standardsWork collaboratively with engineering teams to identify design issues or variancesMaintain high levels of quality assurance, electrical safety, and documentationTrade Assistants Switchboard AssemblyAssist in the assembly and build of electrical switchboards and control panelsMechanical assembly of enclosures, mounting plates, brackets, panels and internal componentsUse hand and power tools to prepare, cut, and fit components for electriciansBasic wiring and cable preparation under supervision (stripping, glanding, labelling, routing)Support workshop production, housekeeping, and safe work practicesRead simple drawings or follow detailed work instructionsSwitchboard ElectriciansQualified Electrician (Cert III Electrotechnology)Experience in switchboard building, panel wiring, industrial electrical work or control system wiringAbility to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsStrong accuracy and attention to detailTrade AssistantsPrevious experience in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing environmentsConfident using hand and power toolsAbility to follow technical instructionsKeen interest in electrical assembly or switchboard buildingApply NowTo register your interest in these opportunities, please click Apply Now.For further information, contact Add Staff Recruitment on 1300 365 606.#J-18808-Ljbffr
