A part-time (2 days per week) EXPERIENCED Patient Service Officer is required for the largest cardiology provider in Australia with more than 90 centres and over 100 doctors. The position will be predominantly based at our Busselton clinic, with occasional travel to our Bunbury clinic required. As a highly valued Patient Service Officer, your skills and expertise will assist in providing quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. On occasion, you may be required to provide short-term administrative relief at these practices.Key Qualifications and SkillsA minimum of 2 years'' experience in a medical reception role.Strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)Competent in the use of medical management software (we use HealthTrack)Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressureHigh level written and verbal communication skillsLiaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providersGood attention to detail and well-developed computer literacyIssuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health fundsAbility to work autonomously and perform clinical duties as required (training provided).Why Advara HeartCareAt Advara HeartCare, we care, we work together, we advance, and we deliver.
