When you join our team, you''ll feel valued and supported by our strong commitment to learning, flexibility, great benefits and a positive culture of teamwork and cooperation.Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosurgery/Neuroscience ward (Radley Ward), a 29-bed unit that provides a fast-paced, diverse environment for care across a range of conditions.What You Will Be Doing In This RoleWe''re excited to offer opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Neuroscience/Neurosurgery ward, the Radley Ward. You''ll care for patients with conditions including acute stroke care, brain and spinal surgeries, neuro-oncology procedures, and general adult neurology cases such as Parkinson''s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines, and Seizures. Radley is a Stroke Unit and a leader in Parkinson''s treatment offering therapies such as Deep Brain Stimulation, Apomorphine, and Duodopa. You''ll be part of a close-knit team with collaboration, compassion, and patient-centered care at the heart of everything we do. Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager, you''ll receive hands-on training, buddy shifts, and guidance as you transition into your role. Our NUM has an open-door policy and cares about the wellbeing of patients and staff. If you''re passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive, team-focused environment, we''d love to hear from you.Who We''re Looking ForCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years of post-registration experience.A background in neuroscience/neurosurgery (preferred) or surgical nursing, with a strong willingness to learn and expand expertise in these areas.High level of empathy and emotional intelligence to connect with patients and families.Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.Flexibility to work a rotating roster of 8-hour shifts.Full working rights in Australia.About UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (the San).
