Finance Manager 3P, Amazon Third Party MarketplaceAmazon International Seller Services (ISS) seeks a Finance Manager to partner with business leaders in our fastpaced 3P marketplace in Australia, based in Sydney. The role partners with senior leaders to manage a full P&L and provide strategic planning and execution support.ResponsibilitiesDevelop financial models and analytical tools to measure productivity, calculate ROI, and assess investment outcomes.Create financial and metrics reporting packages for the 3P business (monthly/quarterly/full year), including detailed P&Ls and reconciliations to explain business trends.Collaborate with business teams to develop variance analysis and explain deviations from the plan.Serve as auditor of various financial and business metrics and KPIs; reconcile data between financial and nonfinancial systems and review monthly results for potential errors.Build deepdive reporting to explain variances in variable and fixed costs, operating expenses, headcount, and other key cost drivers; work with applicable teams to understand variances and drive action.Conduct longterm and shortterm financial planning.Qualifications6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking.6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.7+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.Preferred Qualifications6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, rootcause analysis, and implementing escalation plans.3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g., Csuite) experience.MBA or CPA.Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on adhoc analyses for strategic decisionmaking.Acknowledgement of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
