Maintenance Supervisor AmazonApply for the Maintenance Supervisor role at Amazon.DescriptionAmazon is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) team at our Craigieburn Sort Centre (ATS).As a Maintenance Supervisor you''ll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies and identifying new and efficient ways of working. In this role, you''ll pay close attention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you''ll put in place upgrades to take that standard even higher.Key Job ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development.Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies.Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working across the site.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment.Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings.A Day in the LifeYour day will be a dynamic blend of handson technical work and strategic leadership. You''ll lead a team of 2 technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cuttingedge systems performing at their peak.Basic QualificationsExperience in contract management.Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.Experience in team leadership.A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject formally recognised in Australia, and a valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence).Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of programmable logic controls (PLC) programming.Experience of multicontractor management.Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.Acknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
