Our skilled staff deliver a breadth of care-based services across a vast geographic footprint, and in many types of locations.About the roleWith new investment strengthening our service, we are excited to recruit for a newly created role, offering the opportunity to join an established team committed to making a meaningful impact.We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Coordinator, Homelessness Service Women and Families, Adult Women to provide program coordination, operational leadership and day-to-day support to a frontline service delivering support to adult women, including those experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, mental health challenges and other complex life circumstances.This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring the delivery of safe, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and client-centred services that respond to the unique needs and experiences of adult women. Working closely with the Service Manager, the Coordinator supports team members through effective leadership, complex case guidance, operational oversight and continuous improvement.The Coordinator, Adult Women will foster a culturally safe, inclusive and empowering service environment that supports women to build stability, safety and independence.This position is permanent, full-time and based at our Toowong service, with on-call responsibilities as part of the role.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day operational leadership and coordination to an Adult Women''s service teamSupport team members with complex cases, including safety planning, risk assessment and case planning for women with multiple and intersecting needsConduct regular file audits to ensure quality assurance, best practice and continuous developmentProvide proactive peer support, coaching and mentoring to staffOversee and support client intake, assessments and reviewsMonitor service delivery against contractual, legislative and funding requirementslcLead by example by modelling values-aligned, trauma-informed, gender-responsive and collaborative practiceBuild participative and consultative systems that empower staff and strengthen team cohesionSupport recruitment, onboarding, orientation and ongoing development of staff and volunteersEnsure caseloads are appropriate and support continuity of service delivery through case backfilling where requiredMaintain contemporary knowledge of issues impacting adult women, including homelessness, DFV, mental health, substance use and housing insecurityEnsure service delivery aligns with trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and gender-responsive frameworksProvide feedback to the Service Manager on service delivery effectiveness and emerging client needsLiaise and collaborate with external agencies including housing, health, DFV, legal and community servicesSupport integrated, innovative and culturally responsive service modelsParticipate in an on-call roster to ensure client and service needs are metRepresent Anglicare at relevant networks, forums and community meetingsOversee the maintenance and integrity of service databases and client recordsEnsure accurate, timely and confidential documentation of client and service informationComply with incident, risk and complaints reporting processesCollate and report on client outcomes, service data and feedbackComplete additional administrative tasks as requiredContribute to the development and implementation of systems, processes, policies and proceduresIdentify opportunities for service improvement and innovation in Adult Women''s programsPromote reflective practice, learning and professional development within the teamSupport staff to identify training needs and capability developmentWork collaboratively across teams and disciplines to share knowledge and best practiceAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Demonstrated experience in management, case management and support services for adult womenExperience working within homelessness, domestic and family violence, mental health and/or complex needs servicesStrong understanding and practical application of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and gender-responsive practiceProven leadership capability, including day-to-day operational supervision and team supportAbility to proactively manage human, technical and financial resourcesExperience developing and implementing tools and processes to support service deliveryUnderstanding of change management principlesWell-developed written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skillsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilityA collaborative, solutions-focused and self-managing approachCompetency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systemsQualifications and RequirementsDegree in Social Work, Human Services, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceCurrent National Police CheckCurrent Blue CardCurrent Queensland Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicleJoin a respected Not-for-Profit and make a meaningful impact on outcomes for womenSalary Packaging -
