And now, we''re extending our reach and impact even further.Bus Driver Seniors CommunitiesAs a Bus Driver within Seniors Communities, you''ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by supporting their independence, connection and wellbeing through safe, respectful and reliable transport services.Your opportunityCasual roleAs our Bus Driver, you will safely transport residents to and from various local destinations, ensuring they feel supported, respected and cared for throughout their journey. You''ll assist residents on and off the bus, maintain safety standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of village activities.With Integrity And Resilience, You WillTransport residents safely, following all road rules and Anglicare proceduresAssist residents boarding and exiting the bus, using steps or hydraulic hoist where requiredMaintain valid First Aid certification and provide first aid when neededEnsure the bus runs closely to the scheduled timetableKeep the vehicle clean, well-presented and compliant with safety and hygiene standardsIdentify hazards, report concerns and contribute to a strong safety cultureSupport village operations by working cooperatively with other staffProvide friendly, compassionate customer service to residents at all timesWhat You''ll BringYou are a patient, caring and safety-focused individual who enjoys supporting older people and contributing to a positive community environment.You Will Also NeedLight Rigid (LR) NSW Driver LicenceCurrent First Aid CertificateGood time management and reliabilityAbility to work safely, follow procedures and minimise riskStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to maintaining a safe, clean and respectful environmentIdeally, You Will Also HaveExperience transporting seniors or working in aged careUnderstanding of WHS, hazard identification and safe work practicesWhy Anglicare?We provide meaningful opportunities and choice for the individuals and communities we support and the dedicated people here who make it happen.
