This is a Casual role that requires you to be available on weekends.Reporting to the Head Chef, the cook provides a nutritious, appetising, and varied menu for residents that enhances their quality of life. This menu is nutritionally sound, aligned to residents'' individual medical and other needs and preferences, the Aged Care Quality standards, and regulatory requirements, and is delivered within budget.What you will do:Manage all aspects of the kitchen section, including training, leading and inspiring the Kitchen team to ensure a highly-skilled, wellorganised and motivated team.Ensure food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established, monitored and maintained to meet current Food Concept guidelines.Delivery of food is executed in a timely manner.Undertake ordering of stock for all kitchen areas, ensuring orders across sections are condensed to reduce excessive stock, and par stock levels are maintained.What''s in it for you?Competitive hourly rate + Salary Packaging + 12% Superannuation + penaltiesPermanent Part Time Role - Weekends AvailableNot for Profit Salary Packaging options of up to $15,900 Tax Free, plus $2,650 Meals & Entertainment CardPaid Overtime17.5% Leave LoadingOnsite ParkingAn Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family.Onsite & Online career development and programsFlexibility Range of shifts available to suit your lifestyleAwardwinning culture programsWho are you and what will you bring?At least 12 years hospitality experience in a Cook roleHold and maintain NDIS Workers Check (or willing to obtain)Experience as a Cook within Aged CareCompleted Food Safety Supervisor CourseExcellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal)Interested?
