Sales Manager ANZ & FIJI - Packaging BoardSales Manager Packaging Boards. This role is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales growth and managing commercial operations across the Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands. The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, merchants and key customers, and identifying new business opportunities to expand packaging board sales market share in general & food packaging.In addition to overseeing sales activities, the Sales Manager will coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Mill Operation Teams in Indonesia and China, to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with overall business goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, excellent customer engagement skills, and the ability to work both within a Matrix organization and independently in a dynamic and competitive market environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Business DevelopmentDevelop and grow business with assigned distributors and key customers.Foster strategic business relationships with Key Accounts and decision-makers to enhance brand visibility and strengthen partnerships.Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments and Brands.Market & Sales ExecutionLead market penetration strategies and initiate sales breakthroughs.Introduce new products/services and organize customer visits or product presentations.Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product listings, and tailored sales activities to achieve business objectives.Sales Reporting & StrategyAnalyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to provide strategic insights.Prepare timely sales reports and forecasts for management review.Recommend sales initiatives and actions to optimize performance.Team & Operational CoordinationCollaborate closely with Mill Operation Teams to align supply, logistics, and customer service standards.Maintain high standards of professional relationships and customer service.Other DutiesPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned within a matrix organization.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of working experience in sales, preferably within the Paper, Printing, Packaging, or Paper Converting industries.Proven track record in building sales in competitive fast paced environments.Proven ability to work within a matrix reporting structure independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Customer-focused with excellent business acumen and a resultsoriented approach.Bachelor''s or Master''s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred; however suitable candidates with significant industry experience will be considered.Seniority level: MidSenior levelEmployment type: Full-timeIndustries: Paper and Forest Product Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
